What To Expect From The Upcoming OPEC Meeting - Dec 2015

OPEC is holding its second meeting this year on December 4 2015 in Vienna. While the meeting in June did not result in any significant decision, the upcoming meeting is considered more important for two reasons. First of all, the period of depressed oil prices has been extended by another 6 months since the last meeting and is thus testing the limits of some OPEC members. In addition, it was the winter meeting of last year that caused a 10% daily plunge of the oil price and the United States Oil ETF (NYSEARCA:USO) and fed the continuation of the bear market of oil.
